The European Talent Academy is a joint career development programme of three outstanding partners covering three different countries and research cultures: Imperial College London (UK), Politecnico di Milano (IT) and the Technical University of Munich (GER). Together they are committed to serve as incubators for young research talents.

Launched in 2021 the European Talent Academy enters in its 3rd edition in 2023. More than 40 young talents have already profited from the programme and a new cohort of ~20 excellent early career researchers will be selected soon. started to be published. While the participation of EU countries in these funding instruments is given and the rules are widely known, the possibility of integrating international non-EU partners is not as obvious to the research community.

Eligibility

Applicants should be within 2-7 years of experience since completion of PhD. These periods exclude any career break, for example due to:

  • family care
  • health reasons
  • reasons related to COVID-19 such as home schooling or increased teaching load
