Clashes in Global Economic Governance


Dear conference participants, 

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the second Munich Politics Network.

With this network, we are aiming to create a global platform and an annual forum for discussions related to challenges in politics and technology. After last year's topic "Disruptive Politics & Technology", we devoted the Munich Politics Network 2019 to "Clashes in Global Economic Governance"This joint cooperation with the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the Munich School of Philosophy will put the spotlight on six key interrelated challenges in contemporary global economic governance: (I) Fragmentation of the Institutional Landscape; (II) Power Shifts in Global Economic Governance; (III) Future of Global Economic Governance; (IV) Power & Control of New Technologies; (V) Multilateralism & Populism in the Digital Age; and (VI) Governance of Global Commons.
