In the recent years, Virtual Reality technology has finally arrived for the consumers market. Additionally, more and more companies embed VR simulations and trainings for their employees. With the idea of the metaverse, the question comes up, how to use VR technology at the workplace and if it is possible to enhance the workflow through VR applications, besides from already existing training apps. The presented thesis focuses on creating 3D User Interfaces for a VR application that can be used during the level design pipeline. We analyzed existing solutions and 3D interaction techniques to create a first prototype for virtual world creation. Then, we conducted expert interviews to evaluate whether experts would consider using VR tools like the one we proposed during their level design process. Furthermore, we wanted to evaluate the implemented features of the tool. The interviewees gave constructive feedback how certain features could be improved and what toolset they expected for such an app. The results show that the idea of using VR for level design was well received among all participants. They came up with various feature suggestions to improve existing mechanics and extend the tool for new features. In the next step, the feature list could be extended and the tool's UX could be tested with more people.
