Abstract

The old Egyptian language is a very fascinating one, considering all the myths and secrets about this ancient culture. Today the only possibility to learn this language is by reading books or studying flashcards. Due to these monotonous learning techniques the initial enthusiasm can get lost along the way. Serious Games directly address this issue. In the scope of this advanced practical course, we will further developed the game "HieroQuest", which is dedicated to teaching Hieroglyphs, by integrating one of the oldest stories in recorded history.
