Welcome

Exchange students from all over the world study at our department. To ensure that they have a pleasant stay in Munich, the MIX program (Mentoring for International eXchange students) was created. We are connecting incoming students with TUM students to support them. Both sides benefit from this program. The exchange students have a personal mentor to help them with registering for the exams, selecting their courses or to show them the most beautiful beergarden in Munich. The benefits for the mentors are obvious: They can make international contacts, improve their foreign language skills and gain cross-cutural competence.

The contact between mentor and exchange student should develop without interference. To ensure this, we will search for fitting partners, depending on their areas of specialization in studies, their language skills and common interests. Afterwards, we contact both partners by email. They can then arrange everything as they want.

We wish all exchange students a pleasant stay in Munich and hope for active help from TUM students!

Registration

The registration for winter semester 2022/23 is now possibleclosed.

Only for exchange students, bachelor (BSEI) and master students (MSEI). Not for MSCE and MSNE  students.
